Two suspects arrested, drugs seized by West Shore RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Unit during traffic stop

Two people were arrested in relation to drug trafficking on June 5, 2025, during a West Shore RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Unit investigation.

Officers conducted a vehicle stop near the intersection of Sooke Rd and Jacklin Rd in Langford, with a car displaying an inactive licence plate that did not match the description of the vehicle. Further investigation led police to suspect that the occupants of the vehicle were trafficking drugs.

Two men in their 40’s were arrested in relation to drug trafficking and were later released on Undertakings while the investigation is on going. Police searched the vehicle along with both suspects and seized the following:

Other items including drug trafficking paraphernalia, bear spray, collapsible baton, machete, folding knife and a stolen licence plate were also recovered during the search.
