Comox Valley RCMP have been investigating an alleged assault that occurred on Huband Road in Courtenay on June 15, 2024 and are now seeking additional information from the public.
On June 16, 2024 a woman came to the Comox Valley RCMP Detachment to report that she had been assaulted at her residence the night before. She reported that she was outside closing her gate at approximately 10:30 p.m. when a man grabbed onto her arm. She said that she struck him in the head and then ran into her residence. She described the man as having a scruffy beard, in his 40s, between 5’8 to 5’9, average build, wearing a black hoodie with white writing.
