Two vehicle collision ends with six people in hospital, RCMP investigating

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, around 5:00 p.m., Prince George RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision between a pickup truck and a minivan that occurred on Highway 97 South near Colebank Road

There was a single occupant in the pickup truck and a family of five, including four children between the ages of five and twelve, in the minivan. All of those involved were taken to the hospital by Emergency Health Services with injuries ranging from moderate to severe, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Traffic was disrupted in the area for approximately five hours as Frontline police officers and the North District Traffic Analyst gathered information from the scene. Criminality is not suspect in this incident and the investigation remains ongoing.
