On the one-year anniversary of the death of Mark Hoffman, the BC RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit (SED MCU) renews its appeal for public assistance in solving this case.
Mark Hoffman was last seen on December 15, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., making a purchase at the Jimmy’s Liquor Store, located at 408 Paul Lake Road, Kamloops, BC. His body was discovered the following day, December 16, 2023, at the Inks Lake Road recreation site located off Highway 5, south of Kamloops.
To advance the investigation, RCMP are releasing still images from CCTV footage of Mark Hoffman’s visit to Jimmy’s Liquor Store.

Previously released photographs of Mark, his dog, and his Ford Explorer remain crucial in identifying potential witnesses.

Even the smallest detail could be critical in piecing together the events leading to Mark Hoffman’s death.
The RCMP remains committed to seeking justice for Mark Hoffman and his family, and thanks the public for their continued support in this investigation.
