Prince George

Prince George RCMP and ICBC have teamed up to bring a unique and interactive display to Prince George.
On June 19, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., come and join ICBC and RCMP representatives at their Spot the Target display in the Pine Centre mall parking lot, where you will have the chance to see if you can spot all of the potential targets inside a vehicle.
This initiative is aimed at getting drivers to take a closer look at what is being left behind in their vehicle when they park it. Many of the items we leave out for our convenience become potential targets for thieves and increase the likelihood our vehicles will be broken into for these items, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

People visiting the display will get to look inside a parked car to see how many potential targets they can find. Those participating in the event will have the opportunity to enter their name into a raffle to win a prize.
