Williams Lake court house damaged overnight

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, Williams Lake RCMP received a report of mischief to property. The front entrance doors to the court house had been smashed sometime overnight. The exterior set of glass entrance doors had been shattered and a 2-foot-long piece of pipe was found at the scene.

The inner set of entrance doors were still locked and secured and no entry into the building had been made. The CCTV footage was reviewed and shows a suspect fleeing the scene on foot.
