Halloween in the Comox Valley

Halloween was a busy 24-hours for the frontline members of the Comox Valley RCMP with 69 calls for service. Officers were called to one hold up alarm, 9 requests to check the well being of someone, 3 calls to assist other agencies (fire department, EHS), 2 break and enter reports, 2 possible breaches of court ordered conditions, 5 bylaw complaints (fireworks, noise), 5 disturbances, one harassment report, 4 mischief reports, 3 missing people, 5 reports of lost/found property, one shots fired complaint, 8 suspicious circumstance reports, 3 theft reports, 2 threats reports, 10 traffic complaints, and 5 reports of unwanted people. In addition to this, police officers were out assisting with traffic control in Comox and were handing out candy all over the Valley!
