Salmon Arm RCMP would like to invite you to a free upcoming event!
On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, join Constable Elisha Houle of the Salmon Arm RCMP for a presentation on common scams and frauds. There will also be a presentation from Service Canada on how to protect your identification and other information.
"With evolving technology, scams and frauds are becoming harder to detect. Salmon Arm RCMP are hoping this presentation gives Salmon Arm residents an opportunity to know what to look out for, and how to protect themselves," stated Constable Andrew Hodges, Salmon Arm RCMP media relations officer.
Doors will open at 9:30am at the Salmar Classic Theatre on Alexander Street, Salmon Arm. There will be additional information and resource tables from several other partner agencies, coffee, and a light snack available. Presentations will commence at 10:00am and are expected to go until 11:30am.
