On May 20, 2025, West Shore RCMP investigated and arrested two suspects in relation to Indecent Acts in the West Shore.
At approximately 1:45 p.m. West Shore RCMP were called by a BC Transit Supervisor to the area of Jacklin Rd and Dunford Rd in Langford, for a male suspect who is alleged to have committed an indecent act while aboard a BC Transit bus. The 38-year-old male suspect exited the bus and was arrested by police in relation to the indecent act, uttering threats against another passenger along with failure to comply with the conditions of a Probation Order he was bound by. The suspect was held in custody and is to appear before the courts on May 21.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. West Shore RCMP responded to another unrelated report of an Indecent Act alleged to have taken place in a parking lot located near the 1700 block of Island Hwy in Colwood. A 67-year-old male was arrested in relation to the indecent act and was released on an Undertaking with an upcoming court date.
The two investigations described above are in addition to a third report of an indecent act alleged to have taken place last week on the Galloping Goose trail near Happy Valley Rd and Lomalinda Drive. Police are still investigating that report and are seeking anyone with information to report it to police by calling West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264. You read our previous media release regarding this investigation here.
