Police seek witnesses to collision in Whistler

Sea to Sky RCMP General Investigations Section is seeking witnesses and dash camera footage following a collision Friday morning.

On March 14, 2025 at approximately 8:30 a.m. a Whistler RCMP officer driving a marked police vehicle was involved in a collision with another vehicle on Highway 99 near Cheakamus Lake Road. The officer and driver of the other vehicle were transported to the local area clinic with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sea to Sky RCMP General Investigations Section has taken conduct of the investigation and working to determine all contributing factors that led to this collision.

There are no ongoing traffic disruptions as a result of the collision.

Anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage is asked to contact the Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044.
