Langley RCMP investigating stabbing; seeking witnesses and dash cam footage

Langley RCMP is investigating a stabbing that occurred this morning in Langley.

On September 17, 2024, shortly after 8:15 am, Langley RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing that had occurred in the 20300 block of Douglas Crescent. Officers and paramedics located the victim inside a local business. A 26-year-old, Langley man was taken to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threating injuries.

The investigation is in its infancy, however, we believe that this was a targeted and isolated incident. There is no on-going risk to public safety, said Corporal Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.

Police are looking for witnesses and motorists with dash camera footage who happened to be in the area of 20300 block of Douglas between 8:00am to 8:30 am to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quite file number 2024-30019.
