North Shore police investigation

Kamloops City

2025-04-25 13:29 PDT

Kamloops residents are asked to please avoid a section of Valhalla Drive where a large police presence is visible.

Multiple police officers, including members of the Southeast District Emergency Response Team (ERT) are currently in the area as part of an ongoing investigation.

At this time, we are asking residents to please divert and refrain from approaching the areas where police officers are present, in the interest of the investigation and safety of all those involved, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson.

Details related to the investigation are unavailable at this time in order to maintain its integrity.

The detachment thanks the community for its patience and understanding.
