At approximately 7:30 this morning, Langley RCMP received reports of shots heard in the 20100 block of 84 Avenue.
Responding officers located an individual at the scene suffering from what is believed to be a gunshot wound.
BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) attended and transported the individual to a local area hospital.
"Officers remain on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident but at this time there is no risk to the public," states Cpl. Zynal Sharoom.
