Coquitlam RCMP are getting ready to hit the ground running in support of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
The Coquitlam RCMP team will be lacing up to make a difference for Special Olympics British Columbia. Participants will complete a 2.6 kilometre run/walk starting from Coquitlam RCMP Detachment at 2986 Guildford Way, Coquitlam to raise awareness and vital funds for Special Olympic British Columbia athletes and programs.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is an innovative initiative powered by dedicated law enforcement personnel from around the world who want to help Special Olympic athletes experience: acceptance, achievement and admiration through sport.
The Coquitlam RCMP team are honored to carry the Flame of Hope in an effort to make a difference in lives of Special Olympic B.C. athletes, said Corporal Alexa Hodgins from the Coquitlam RCMP. The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run will commence on June 5, 2024 between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
