During the shift 752 vehicles passed through the roadblock. 4 roadside suspensions and 2 90-day prohibitions were issued during the operation.
Impaired driving is one of the top three contributing factors for fatal crashes in BC and is a serious concern in the Province at this time of the year.
Richmond RCMP encourages all those attending holiday parties and events this season to plan ahead. There are many safe means available to get home safe, including having a designated driver, taking a taxi or ride-share, or public transit.
Plan ahead to help make sure you make it home safe and sound this holiday season.
