On April 17, 2024 shortly after 10:00 p.m. Richmond RCMP responded to a reported theft in progress at a retail establishment in the 4600 block of No 3 Rd. Loss prevention Officers reported an individual exited the store with multiple items without payment. Richmond RCMP frontline officers were on the scene swiftly to engage with the individual, who was allegedly found in possession of stolen goods.
The suspect was arrested without incident. The subsequent investigation revealed the individual was wanted on two outstanding warrants for previous shoplifting offences.
