Prince George RCMP is thanking one witness who made an out-of-the-ordinary discovery on April 1, 2024, which assisted police in recovering a large quantity of drugs hidden in the area. The report came in shortly before 1:00 p.m., when a witness reported finding some large black cases buried down a local trail near the 6800-block of Fairmont Crescent.
When police officers searched the area further, they found a total of three cases buried in various locations. Investigators opened the cases and found approximately $5000 in cash and over 400 grams of illicit drugs inside, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.Police officers seized the cases for further investigation.
