Investigation showed that the recovered bill was considered a ‘training aid’ or ‘prop’ that had similar coloring to a real bill. However, it was missing the typical security features of a real bill. It was unknown exactly when the bill had been received by the business. Please ensure you are checking the legitimacy of bills when you are receiving them, to ensure you do not end up being out a sum of money. (2025-1114)
