On Sunday, March 9, 2025 Chetwynd RCMP were called to a home after the Chetwynd Fire Department and EHS responded to a call for a person in medical distress.
As police arrive on scene, they learn that an adult woman was now deceased. RCMP E Division Major Crime Section is investigating the circumstances an do not believe there to be a risk to the public.
No arrests have been made and no further information is available at this time. More details may be released as they become available.
