North Vancouver RCMP have arrested a man for impersonating a police officer and are seeking further victims to come forward.
On March 1, 2025, North Vancouver RCMP were made aware of a man driving a Ford F-150 that had pulled over a Tesla driver. During the interaction, the driver of the F-150 identified himself as a North Vancouver RCMP officer and had flashing red and white lights displayed. The driver was not wearing a police uniform, did not have any police equipment on his person and did not provide a police identification.
On March 4, 2025, North Vancouver RCMP arrested the driver of the F-150 for impersonating a police officer and seized the vehicle. During the course of the investigation, investigators determined there could be additional victims who were pulled over by the same man.

Investigators are releasing images of the F-150 in hopes that drivers who may have been pulled over by the same vehicle will come forward and provide a statement.
We are asking anyone who may have been pulled over by this vehicle to take note of key identifying details, said Corporal Mansoor Sahak, Media Relations Officer for the North Vancouver RCMP. The truck has a light bar placed on the lower centre of the windshield, which resembles lighting used on police vehicles. If you recall seeing these features and had a similar interaction, we encourage you to come forward and speak with investigators.
