Police seeking witnesses and video footage in a pedestrian hit & run

Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit & run possibly involving two vehicles.

On May 16, 2024 at 9:43 am, Surrey RCMP responded to a pedestrian hit and run in the 1600-block of Martin Drive. Emergency Health Services transported the elderly female victim to hospital with serious injuries. She remains in hospital, and extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.

Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) has taken conduct of the investigation. CCIT is looking for any witnesses or anyone whose vehicle is equipped with a dash camera who was driving in the 1600-block of Martin Drive between 9:15 am 9:45 am.
