On July 27, 2023 at approximately 02:30am, Mission Fire Rescue Service and the Mission RCMP responded to a report of a fire on 14th Ave. Upon arrival, the house was fully engulfed. Mission Fire Rescue Service was able to contain the blaze before it spread to any neighbouring houses but the house did sustain significant damage. Fortunately, no one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Mission RCMP Serious Crime Unit. If anyone has video surveillance or dash cam footage from the area between 1:00am and 3:00am please contact the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.
