North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP is pleased to announce that their first Community Safety Expo was a success and would like to thank the public for attending.

The event was held at the North Cowichan Duncan Detachment on Saturday October 26th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Close to a 1,000 community members attended to learn about first responders and our community partners. There were close to 50 prizes that were won, and all winners are have been contacted.

We have had overwhelming feedback from our community members about what an successful, informative event this was for all ages said S/Sgt. Deborah Kelly of the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.

The Community Safety Expo will be an annual event with the next one being planned for Fall 2025.

We would like to thank all agencies and organizations who participated in the first annual Community Safety Expo said S/Sgt. Ken Bead, detachment commander of the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP. It was a great opportunity to showcase the talented resources and equipment that the community has at its disposal to keep our people safe.
