On 19th April 2024 the Dawson Creek RCMP were dispatched to a report of human remains located on the 219 Road near Saskatoon Creek.
The RCMP along with BC Coroners Service are currently on scene and investigating the matter. The North District Major Crime Unit has been engaged and has taken conduct of the investigation.
The 219 Road between the 212 Road and 214 Road will remain closed due to the investigation in the coming days.
