Shots fired with one confirmed victim – non-life threatening injuries

Surrey RCMP is currently on scene following a report of shots fired in the 9100 block of 147 Street, in the Green Timbers area of Surrey.

On January 20, 2024, at 1:06 a.m, Surrey RCMP received a report of shots fired in the 9100 block of 147 Street. Upon arrival, Surrey RCMP frontline members located a male who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not yet been confirmed, as he was transported to hospital for assessment and treatment.

The investigation is currently underway, in its early stages, and Surrey RCMP officers are canvassing for witnesses in the area.
