Approximately 40 police officers from West Shore RCMP, RCMP Emergency Response Team, the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit – British Columbia (CFSEU-BC), Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team and Victoria Police Strike Force, executed 12 search warrants on properties and vehicles in the Greater Victoria area on January 31, 2024.
The search warrants were a part of a months-long investigation lead by West Shore RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Unit into drug trafficking taking place in the West Shore and Greater Victoria area.

The search warrants resulted in officers seizing numerous pieces of evidence relating to drug trafficking including the following:
450 grams of Fentanyl at minimum would make up 4500 individual doses. However, this number could be drastically higher and in the tens of thousands based upon the purity level of the Fentanyl. There were three persons arrested, two male residents of Langford aged 45 and 41 (one of which was a member of The Savages Motorcycle Club), and a female resident of Colwood aged 27.
We thank all the officers and police agencies that assisted in this large-scale investigation. A significant number of drugs and drug trafficking evidence was seized by police.
