On Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 1:29 am Houston RCMP responded to a stabbing that occurred in the 3100 block of Hagman Crescent in Houston.
BC EHS were on scene providing medical attention to a 33-year-old male victim, who was subsequently transported to hospital in Smithers, and later airlifted to hospital in Prince George.
Through the course of the investigation Houston RCMP identified a 36-year-old male suspect who was arrested for aggravated assault with a weapon, and held in custody to appear in BC Provincial Court on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
Police believe this to be targeted and there is no further risk to the public.
Houston RCMP are seeking any information from the public or any witnesses to the incident to contact Houston RCMP at 250-845-2204.
