The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is releasing an image of a robbery suspect in hopes that someone from the public recognizes him.
On March 28, 2024, around 2:30 p.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers responded to a commercial location on the 400-block of Lansdowne Street, where an employee had attempted to stop a man from stealing, and the suspect allegedly produced a weapon in response.
Fortunately, the employee was uninjured physically, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. Officers were not able to locate the suspect at the time of the occurrence, but are hopeful someone from the public can identify him based on the image released, and help further the investigation.
