The North Shore is about to get bold and cold once again! On Wednesday, February 19 at 10:00 a.m., community members and local first responders will sprint into the icy waters at Ambleside Park for the annual Polar Plunge for Special Olympics BC (SOBC).

This event brings together participants from the North Vancouver RCMP, West Vancouver Police, North Shore Rescue, and the Vancouver Law Courts, all uniting for an incredible cause. This year the collective fundraising goal is set at $4,500, with all proceeds supporting SOBC athletes in their pursuit of year-round sport, youth, and health programs.
