File # 2025-1233

The Merritt RCMP are looking for the owner of a red Hilti Tool bag that contained various expensive tools.

On March 20, 2025, a good samaritan attended the Merritt RCMP Detachment and turned in a red Hilti bag containing Dewalt power drills and Dewalt batteries. The bag, drills and batteries contained specific markings on them. Officers have been unable to identify the owner and are seeking the public's assistance.

MR5102 parked outside of the Merritt RCMP Detachment.

If you lost your power tools and believe these could be yours, please contact Cst. Nic Maciejewski with the Merritt RCMP at 250-378-4262, and quote file 2025-1233. Please be prepared to provide the unique markings that are located on the tools to prove ownership.
