Suspect sought in bank break and enter

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying suspect who broke into a TD Canada Trust financial institution at 1-351 Trans Canada Hwy in Duncan, BC.

On September 4, 2023, around 11:30 a.m., North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP was notified of a suspect who had broken into the bank earlier in the morning around 9:30 a.m.

The suspect, described as a masked individual wearing a Bugs Bunny hooded sweater allegedly stole some banking equipment.

No one was present inside the bank at the time of the incident.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to call North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at 250-748-5522.
