File # 2025-5148

On March 19, 2025, West Shore RCMP Bike Patrol Unit conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle parked in the parking lot near the 2900 block of Jacklin Rd in Langford, as the vehicle displayed a license plate that was reported as lost.

During the stop, a 51-year-old driver was arrested as officers observed evidence of drug paraphernalia within reach of the driver.

Police also arrested a second male suspect (34-years-old), in relation to drug trafficking. The second suspect was interacting with the driver at the time of the stop. Police searched the second suspect and seized approximately 14 grams of suspected Methamphetamine found on his person.

This investigation is still on going. The driver was released without charges, however the vehicle was towed and impounded and issued a notice for inspection. The second suspect was released on an Undertaking with an upcoming court date.
