Update: Chilliwack RCMP seek public’s assistance in advancing investigation of male’s death

The Chilliwack RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance. The driver of the red truck has come forward and is cooperating fully with police. As stated in the initial media release, the driver of the red truck is a witness to this incident and not involved in the male’s death.

Background:

On February 17, 2024 the Chilliwack RCMP responded to a report of a deceased male in a drainage ditch on Chilliwack Central Road between Prest Road and Broadway Avenue (see previous release: 2024-02-26).
