BCHP investigates serious Burnaby collision

On June 6, 2024, at approximately 11:24AM, BC Highway Patrol – Burnaby received a report of a single vehicle collision on Highway 1 near the Willingdon exit in Burnaby.

An unknown object is reported to have gone through the windshield of a white sedan where it seriously injured the driver. The driver was transported to hospital and is in critical condition. BC Highway Patrol conducted a search of the highway for the object.

BC Highway Patrol is investigating and are looking for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to contact BC Highway Patrol - Burnaby at 604-526-9744.
