Richmond RCMP frontline officers arrest two suspects in connection with an alleged stolen vehicle.
On February 24, 2025 shortly before 7:20 p.m., a Frontline Richmond RCMP officer on proactive patrols located spotted a suspected stolen vehicle near the area of Pinewell Crescent and Williams Road. When thee officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the driver allegedly fled at a high speed. To ensure public safety, officers did not initiate a pursuit. The vehicle was later located abandoned in a parking lot.
With support from the Lower Mainland Integrated Police Dog Service, Richmond RCMP frontline officers located and arrested two suspects. Both suspects have since been released on police undertakings, both with multiple charges pending.
