Update: all roads re-opened following collision

Surrey RCMP is advising the public that 132nd Street will be closed in both directions between 78th and 82nd Avenue due to a serious collision.

On March 31st, 2024, at 1:40 am, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a collision involving a Dodge Challenger and a Tesla. The occupants of the Challenger fled the collision scene on foot. The driver of the Tesla has been transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Due to serious nature of the collision, 132nd Street will be shut down for several hours. It is requested that the public avoid the area.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage from the area at the time of the collision is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file 2024-44669.
