Man found with a gun shot wound

Quesnel RCMP are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on the weekend.

On October 15, 2023 at approximately 5:41 a.m., the Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of a possible motor vehicle collision near Eagle Rd. in Quesnel. Upon attending, police located a 49-year-old man with a gun shot wound inside the vehicle. The man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Four people have been arrested in relation to the incident and the investigation is ongoing.

This appears to be an isolated incident, says Sgt. Clay Kronebusch. The victim and the suspects are known to each other.
