Impaired driver collides with RCMP Detachment

On November 17, 2024, RCMP received a report of an unsafe driver and shortly after, officers inside the Detachment heard a crash.

Upon exiting the Detachment, officers found that a white Ford had crashed into the front of the Terrace RCMP Detachment. One male driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle, airbags were deployed, and there was damage noted to the outside of the building.

The man was transported to the hospital for medical treatment though no apparent injuries were observed. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this incident and the investigation remains open.
