The Merritt RCMP are seeking the public's assistance to identify the suspect in an armed robbery.

On June 4, 2024, shortly before 02:00am a suspect entered the 711 at the corner of Nicola Avenue and Voght Street, brandishing a knife, and made off with cash from the register. The suspect is described as a being approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, 160 pounds, skinny, wearing a distinct blue hoodie with an indigenous headdress logo on it, blue jeans and a paintball mask.
