Woman arrested following drug investigation

Sooke RCMP have arrested a 44-year-old woman after conducting a search warrant at a property in the 6700 block of West Coast Rd in Sooke.

In January 25, 2025, Sooke RCMP launched an investigation after obtaining information of possible drug trafficking from a property on West Coast Rd in Sooke. Investigators sought judicial authorization to analyze evidence which ultimately led to obtaining a search warrant under the Control Drugs and Substances Act.

On March 20, 2025, Sooke RCMP was assisted by the Island District RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT) to execute the search warrant on a property on West Coast Rd where the 44-year-old woman was arrested.

Police seized several grams of suspected Fentanyl, crack cocaine, heroin and over 1,000 prescribed medication pills.

The file remains under investigation.
