Kamloops RCMP frontline officers attended a Sahali motel yesterday evening after a man attended the hospital with stab wounds.
On April 14, 2025, around 5:45 p.m., police attended the hospital in response to the report, where they discovered a victim who had allegedly been assaulted with a weapon on the 500-block of Columbia Street West.
According to the report, the victim had attended a motel room to purchase drugs, and once inside, was assaulted by two men, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson.

Frontline officers, with the support of the Police Dog Service Unit, attended the room where the offence was reported to have occurred, but no one was located inside. A presence remained on scene while a search warrant was obtained and executed.
The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.
