West Shore Crime Reduction Unit arrests suspect in construction site break and enter

Multiple charges have been laid against 41-year old Richard Kubik in relation to two recent West Shore RCMP investigations.

On April 18, 2025, West Shore RCMP arrested Richard Kubik after responding to a call of a break and enter into a construction site near the 2100 block of Bear Mountain Parkway in Langford. In relation to this investigation, Richard Kubik has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

On April 25, 2025, West Shore RCMP Crime Reduction Unit officers located a F250 truck which had been reported stolen out of Duncan. Officers located Richard Kubik, allegedly in possession of the same vehicle, and arrested him. Richard Kubik has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

Richard Kubik was remanded into custody until his next court date. Both of the above noted maters are before the courts.
