Man assaulted on BC Ferry

The Sunshine Coast RCMP are investigating a report of an assault on a BC Ferry on December 26, 2024.

The incident occurred in the elevator of the 4:20 pm ferry that left from Horseshoe Bay travelling to Langdale.  There may have been several witnesses who saw the suspect and victim immediately after the assault when the elevator opened.  The victim, a 79 year old Sechelt man suffered injuries to his face.  Anyone who witnessed this incident, who has not already spoken with police, is asked to call the RCMP at 604-885-2266, file 2024-9895 relates.
