Men wanted for firearm offences arrested

Two men wanted for Ontario criminal warrants were arrested by Chilliwack RCMP and Prince George RCMP officers, respectively.

The BC RCMP Fugitive Return Program worked in partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police and the Ministry of the Attorney General (Ontario) to extend their Ontario warrants to BC. In collaboration with the Chilliwack RCMP and Prince George RCMP detachments, the BC Prosecution Service, and the BC Sheriff Service, the men were successfully arrested and returned to Ontario to face their charges.
Jeffrey Mills, 52 years old, is facing possession of firearm or ammunition and possession of prohibited /restricted firearms charges.

Jordan Cole, 26 years old, is facing numerous charges including possession of stolen property and various firearms offences.

Both offenders were held in custody and returned to Ontario on July 4, 2024. The Ontario Provincial Police Aviation Services facilitated the escort back to Ontario. The two men and their charges are unrelated to each other.

We are appreciative of the collaboration and efforts involved to apprehend and inter-provincially return these two offenders to face their charges. Says Cpl. Donna Spyrka – BC Fugitive Return Program Coordinator for the BC RCMP. The arrest of these two men was as a result of great team work amongst multiple agencies.
