Police investigating assault with a weapon

Surrey RCMP is on scene investigating a stabbing which sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.

On November 16, 2023, at approximately 4:25 p.m. Surrey RCMP responded to the report of a fight in progress inside a mall located in the 10300-block of 152 Street. Upon arrival police located a victim who sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital. Two suspects were taken into custody at the scene and transported to Surrey RCMP cells.

Initial information indicates that there was an altercation between parties which escalated to one person being stabbed. Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit and General Investigation Unit are working to determine the full circumstances of what transpired.
