Over the last three months Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit has focused their energy on targeting individuals involved in property crime throughout the Prince George community.
An investigation in July helped to recover a stolen Tige boat, three stolen motorcycles and four stolen ATVs. The total value of the recovered property was approximately $365,000.

During August and September, the Street Crew Unit targeted a known property crime offender and executed a search warrant on their property. A large quantity of merchandise and tools were seized in this investigation, totaling over $100,000 in recovered property.
Where possible, the items that have been recovered by our investigators have been returned to the rightful owners or to the businesses where they were stolen from originally, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
