We’re all “fore” supporting the Tour de North Golf Tournament!

Prince George RCMP is proud to partner with the Cops for Cancer Tour de North riders as they host their first ever Charity Golf Tournament.

The Golf Tournament is taking place this weekend on Sunday, June 8 and still has some space available for teams to register.

DATE: Sunday, June 8th
PLACE: Alder Hills Golf Course
TIME: 7:30 a.m. check-in, 9:00 a.m. shotgun start
FOOD: Lunch provided, drinks & other beverages available for purchase
TEAMS: 4-person teams, scramble play
COST: $400 per team of 4 ($100/person)

The golf tournament is being held to help raise funds for this year’s team of riders, who will be setting off from Prince George on September 12, heading towards Prince Rupert in an epic, seven-day long journey that sees them covering over 700km by bike, states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Why do they ride? To raise money for Camp Goodtimes! At Camp Goodtimes, kids with cancer can have fun, accomplish their goals and thrive amongst peers who understand. They offer an extraordinary camp experience in a medically-supervised, safety-focused and supportive environment.

To register for the golf tournament, email pg_media@rcmp-grc.gc.ca for details. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
