Graffitti at local community park sparks police investigation

Sooke RCMP is investigating after receiving a report of graffiti at Broomhill Community Park.

On May 17, 2024, Sooke RCMP responded to Broomhill Community Park located at 2280 Pyrite Dr in Sooke following a report that a wall had been defaced overnight with purple paint, depicting offensive messaging.

Police would like to remind the public that it is a criminal offence to destroy or damage property.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Sooke RCMP at 250-642-5241.
