File # 2024-217

The Terrace RCMP have been investigating many incidents of mischief to locks by glue in the Terrace downtown vicinity for several months.

Business owners and commercial buildings alike have suffered thousands of dollars in damages from these acts, and the suspect recently escalated to smashing windows.

The Terrace General Investigations Section (GIS) has been investigating these incidents and after seeking numerous judicial authorizations, have identified the suspect and made an arrest.

RCMP will be submitting the results of their investigation to BC Prosecution Services at a later time.

Terrace RCMP would like to thank the members of the Terrace community who have assisted in the investigation and helped provide evidence.
