File # 2025-222

On Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 8:52 am, Burns Lake RCMP received a report of a break and enter at Lakeview Mall.

Someone had broken into the mall and then broke into a business within the mall. When police arrived, they saw that a window at the front doors had been shattered and the front door of the business had also been shattered. There does not appear that any property was taken. No other business's in the mall appeared to be broken into.

Surveillance footage within the mall show a possible suspect in the mall, long after the mall was closed. The suspect appears to be a taller person, slim build wearing all black with a black backpack.
